Performance Horse Campaigning
From Young horses completing their first outings, to experienced high level performance horses, Jess is ardent about the progress and results of your horse.
Often seen around the Eventing and Dressage circuits, Jess’ competition calendar is always well booked with the perfect opportunity for your horse to be introduced to new levels and atmospheres, and compete at some of Australia’s most prestigious events.
Whether you are looking for short or long term campaigning, your horse is sure to gain from Jess’ experience in the competition arena. Jess is committed to the relationships she shares with her owners and their horses, and is proud to welcome them as a part of the Wildfire competition team.
Lessons and Clinics
As an accredited EA level 2 coach Jess is passionate about helping you and your horse succeed in your goals. Whether you are a beginner, or an experienced performance rider, Jess’s clients found something to gain from Jess’ years of experience, welcoming riders across all disciplines.
Wildfire Equestrian, based on 110 acres of breathtaking property, features a fully fenced 60mx20m sand arena, a large, fenced jump paddock boasting a 16-jump course and soon to come in December 2022 a large cross country jump paddock ranging from 45/60 to 3*. Lessons are available Tuesday to Sunday, most times (depending on competition calendar) with clinics regularly offered accommodating riders of all level. Private groups can book half and full day clinics with ponyclub/EA or other private riding groups.
Jess also often travels to other clinics across NSW & Australia wide
Racehorse Pre-Training
Based in the heart of thoroughbred country, Jess is enthusiastic about seeing your horse excel on the track, providing your horse with a stimulating and varying training plan, to promote strength and balance. Along with gallop sessions, Jess strives to give your horse the best start or pre-race preparation to their racing career.
Sales Schooling and Preparation
At Wildfire Equestrian, Jess is dedicated to finding the perfect home for your horse. With a vast network, Wildfire provides the opportunity for professional standard photoshoots and videos catered to your horse, marketing your horse to help find their perfect buyers.
Whether it be childs horses, OTT Thoroughbreds transitioning to post racing careers, or elite level performance horses, Wildfire can prepare and fine tune your horse ready for sale. Having sold over 500 horses in the last few years, we have a buyer for every type of horse.
With all facilities available on site, viewers are able to try horses under the professional eye of Jess Somerfield ensuring that horse and rider are a perfect match, whilst you receive the best possible price. Jess aims to make the buying and selling process as seamless and enjoyable as possible, with the match & horse welfare being the highest priority.
